This is an affiliate marketing tip that works well, but is hard to implement unless you know what you are doing. When you've made a sale of a small ticket item, and you have another high ticket item that you promote as well, that is related to the original item in some way, contact your customer. Offer them free support. Ask them if they are finding the product useful, and promote the high ticket item. Make sure you don't cross the 'spam' line here.

Depending on the product you are selling, your competition can be fierce. Make sure that you stand out from the crowd. Offer superior freebies, to sell superior products. Have your own unique website. Take a look at what the other affiliate are doing, and make sure that you are doing more.   Whatever the competition is  not doing, do it.  Whatever they are doing, do it better.  Fill the void in your genre by offering products and services no one else is.

Each day, a ton of affiliate marketers waste a great deal of time trying to decide what they should do next to promote their products. Don't fall into this time wasting habit. Super affiliates know they need a plan, and they take the time to develop a plan of action at the very beginning.  Then they stick to that plan. Take a day or two to write out your marketing plan. Now, instead of spending you time wondering or trying to figure out how to market your products, you can spend your time taking action to market the product!

This final affiliate marketing tip is a biggie. Too often, too many people expect to get something for nothing. Affiliate marketing doesn't work that way. It does require time, effort - and dare I say it? - WORK. If you expect to make a million dollars in two weeks, with little or no work, you are setting yourself up for a huge disappointment. Anyone who tells you that you can earn a large amount of money, in a short amount of time, with little or no work is simply lying to you.
