Credibility on the internet is everything. If you want to make a living online, you must first gain credibility – a great deal of credibility. Let them know that when they visit your online store or office that they are not dealing with a machine – they are doing business with a true person. Provide your customers with some valuable content that lets them know that you are an expert in your field. Make sure that you are selling high quality products – which you have used yourself – and offer and honor a 100% money back guarantee. Make sure that your website works, and that even the most non-technical person can easily get around your website.

Ask your visitors and customers for their information. Their name and email address is sufficient, and this will allow you to keep in touch with your visitors. Offer them specials and deals. When they buy your product, give them bonus gifts and make sure that once the transaction is complete that your visitor leaves your website with the feeling that they got a great deal of value for the money that they spent.

Gaining trust and credibility isn’t difficult. Just operate your business in an honorable and ethical way. Imagine your visitors visiting your traditional offline store, and do everything online that you would do offline to impress that potential customer!
