PPC Alternatives To Google AdSense

Has your site been rejected for Google AdSense?   Or are you looking for another PPC advertising source?  There are many PPC alternatives to Google AdSense you can take advantage of to generate revenue from your website.

First, if Google cannot find appropriate or relevant ads for your website, you can avoid having the public service announcements displaying on your webpages by using one of your own alternatives. Google allows for this, by setting a variable called google_alternate_ad_url in your AdSense code. This is easily found in the administration area of Google AdSense, on the ad settings page. You can use one of the choices below for alternate ads, or to totally replace Google AdSense instead.

Yahoo Search Marketing does have a program that is similar to Google AdSense, called Content Match, but the requirements are stiff. Content Match http://searchmarketing.yahoo.com/pn/cm.php  requires  you to have a minimum of twenty million page views per month to be eligible. That's a tall order for many sites and therefore is not a good Google AdSense alternative.  Yahoo is creating a new program called Yahoo Publisher Network that you can try in beta currently.

There are other AdSense alternatives.

FindWhat, which is now owned by Miva, does have a similar program, which is more realistic as a Google AdSense alternative. The program is called AdRevenue Xpress.  The only real drawback to AdRevenue Xpress, when compared to Google AdSense, is that it doesn't count clicks for a long list of countries. You can see those countries on the sign up page in the agreement.

LookSmart also offers a Google AdSense alternative called LookSmart AdWise.  To sign up for AdWise, you simply fill out a form, and wait to see if you are approved. Kanoodle Bright Ads is another Google AdSense alternative.

There are many other Google AdSense alternatives, other than the Pay Per Click search engines as well. Here is a short list:
