6. Test all of your marketing. Key your ads and your URL's. Know where your visitors and sales are coming from. Keep promoting with the ads and techniques that work, and build on them. Dump what isn't working - it is just a waste of your time.
Above all, super affiliates are efficient. They devote their time to making money, and setting up revenue streams that work for them even when they are sleeping. What they don't do, is waste time in futile endeavors. Testing is the only way to learn what is worth your time and what isn't.
7. Use all of the resources at your disposal. Forums, newsgroups. pay-per-click advertising, banners, ezine ads, etc. Don't put all your marketing eggs into one basket. Just as you would diversify your investments in the stock market, make sure that you diversify your marketing.
8. Choose your affiliate programs wisely. Pay attention to the conversion rates, commission percentages, and the demand for the product. Don't beat your head against a brick wall trying to sell something people don't want, at prices that they cannot afford. Don't waste your time promoting products with low commissions unless you know (from your testing!) the demand is high enough to make it worth your effort.
9. Don't go it alone. Make friends. Enter into joint venture deals as often as possible. Your online friends can be very valuable to you - not only in terms of support and information, but in terms of sales as well. Cultivate friendships wherever you go - online and offline!
10. Don't make any statements about any product that you cannot back up. If you say you will do something, follow through. Building trust and credibility online isn't always easy. When people catch you lying, or not following through, you lose trust and credibility.
By following these simple tips, you can become a super affiliate. Just keep in mind that it won't happen overnight. Building yourself up to super affiliate status takes a little time and a lot of effort.
