10 strong tips to push your profits into Super Affiliate status.

Super Affiliate Tips #1-5

Do you want to be a super affiliate?  A super affiliate is  an affiliate marketer that makes more income from affiliate programs than average affiliates.   Much more.  Typically, a super affiliate is defined as a person who actually makes a living from affiliate marketing.   It is not uncommon for a super affiliate to make a six-figure income, with some earning over a $1 million per year.

There is no reason  you can't be a super affiliate.  Super affiliates are not brain surgeons or rocket scientists.  It is not necessary to have a college degree in marketing to earn a living promoting affiliate programs.  You just have to know a few basic principles and then put them into action.

Here are some tips to help you join the ranks of other super affiliates.

1. Make sure that you have your own niche website, and market your affiliate products and services from that site. Super affiliates work to save time by marketing one website, which in turn promotes several different related products and services. You should have a website, with it's own domain name, for each group of related products and services that you promote.

2. Learn how to use email, and start doing a lot of email marketing. This doesn't mean that you start sending out spam to promote your products or services. Don't do that! What this means is that you need to know how to use your email program.

Create signature files for the different groups of products (websites) that you promote, and use your signature files on outgoing emails.

Answer email promptly.  Each email you receive is a potential sale, and usually it's fairly easy to close that sale if you respond quickly and professionally.  Online, email is the same as a telephone would be offline. Make sure that all of your email is professional. Don't use cute stationary, or hard to read text. Send several test emails to yourself or friends and family to see how your messages will look.

3. Start building an opt-in list. This is typically the most important business asset that affiliate marketers have. It's all in the list. When people give you permission to send them email, take advantage of it. Send newsletters. Write articles of interest to these people, and recommend affiliate products. The trick is to make it look like a newsletter or article of interest - not a sales letter.  Your readers will spend money if they trust you, and you can gain that trust by providing valuable information, and delivering on your sales with no hassles.

4. Build a top-notch team of other affiliates for your two and three tiered affiliate programs. Their sales will put money in your pocket. When you have an affiliate sign up under you, send them an email. Add them to your contact list, and stay in constant contact with them. Keep them motivated, and offer them as much support as possible. They are looking to you for leadership.  If you know how to market a particular product well, write your subaffiliates and tell them what works for you.  Then you can make money when they make money.  Once your subaffiliates are earning well, you're on Easy Street as you earn commissions from their sales.  It's obviously a very time efficient way of making money.  Don't ignore this important revenue stream!

5. Learn everything you can. Read every good ebook you can find on affiliate marketing. Visit forums ( ReveNow Forums )to look for recommendations for reading material from top affiliates. There is quite a bit to learn, and the Internet changes daily. Keep up with trends and new marketing techniques.  It will save you time and put dollars in your pocket in the long run.

Super Affiliate Tips #6-10

6. Test all of your marketing. Key your ads and your URL's. Know where your visitors and sales are coming from. Keep promoting with the ads and techniques that work, and build on them. Dump what isn't working - it is just a waste of your time.

Above all, super affiliates are efficient.  They devote their time to making money, and setting up revenue streams that work for them even when they are sleeping.  What they don't do, is waste time in futile endeavors.  Testing is the only way to learn what is worth your time and what isn't.

7. Use all of the resources at your disposal. Forums, newsgroups. pay-per-click advertising, banners, ezine ads, etc. Don't put all your marketing eggs into one basket. Just as you would diversify your investments in the stock market, make sure that you diversify your marketing.

8. Choose your affiliate programs wisely. Pay attention to the conversion rates, commission percentages, and the demand for the product. Don't beat your head against a brick wall trying to sell something people don't want, at prices that they cannot afford.   Don't waste your time promoting products with low commissions unless you know (from your testing!) the demand is high enough to make it worth your effort.

9. Don't go it alone. Make friends. Enter into joint venture deals as often as possible. Your online friends can be very valuable to you - not only in terms of support and information, but in terms of sales as well. Cultivate friendships wherever you go - online and offline!

10. Don't make any statements about any product that you cannot back up. If you say you will do something, follow through. Building trust and credibility online isn't always easy. When people catch you lying, or not following through, you lose trust and credibility.

By following these simple tips, you can become a super affiliate. Just keep in mind that it won't happen overnight. Building yourself up to super affiliate status takes a little time and a lot of effort.
